Happy Birthday Lila!!!

They say it goes fast but I just can’t get my hands around that yesterday Lila turned 1!  She’s becoming this amazing little girl, full of life and so interested in everything now.  I am so proud to be her mommy and so excited to see what the future holds for her…

Wanda Lou (forever in my heart)

December 27 was a very, very sad day for me, it was the day my very first baby girl, Wanda, went to live with a new family. Although I will still get to see her now and then, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do and I will forever miss and love her. Wanda I love you and will always be your mommy!!!

Our Seaside Tree

Well it turned out better than I had expected.  I ended up short on the starfish garland but was lucky enough to order and get another strand of it yesterday to finish it up.  I have a box of ornaments that I would have loved to put on it but they are sitting in a box in my parents basement over 2,000 miles away so maybe next year.  Regardless, it’s our Christmas tree and I love it!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Boot Obsession

I’m absolutely obsessed with boots, and now that I’ve pretty much sold every single pair I owned on Ebay due to a size change during pregnancy, I’m on the hunt for new ones……only problem is that there are WAY too many out there, there’s the ankle bootie, the shoe bootie, the mid-calf boot, the flat riding boot, the western boot, the motorcycle boot, the “I’m a city diva” boot, and the list goes on.  So you can only imagine how difficult it will be for me to narrow it down.

These are only a few of the many I’m drooling over, some within budget and some way out of it!!  It doesn’t hurt to dream a little. . .
